Heirloom Desk Restored

Our customer’s flooded basement damaged their family heirloom roll top desk. The bottom was water and mildew damaged on all sides. Our furniture restoration team spent months working on this special desk. The base had soaked up a lot of dirty water so drying and sanitizing were the first course of action. They had to create a replacement drawer and custom mill a drawer front to match the others. Years ago someone tried to mask a crack in the marble top with contact paper. Our team was able to replace that. We are probably as excited to return this to the customer as the customer is to get this beloved piece home.
