Sprinkler Systems Failure

The recent cold snap in the metro Detroit area has been brutal for man and beast. It has also been hard on plumbing. The cold weather caused a fire suppression system failure in a Dearborn, MI apartment complex. The water quickly soaked through the ceilings in 16 apartments; many ceilings collapsed from the water. Our crew had to work quickly and strategically. We removed the debris and extracted the water. Then we set up specialty fans and dehumidifiers to dry the floors and pull moisture out of the air. The units were dry in a few days. The reconstruction work will take a bit longer.
