This East Dearborn mosque's roof was covered in a tarp after storm damage.

The Detroit area has quickly changing weather. Sunny to stormy and back to sunny in a day in a common occurrence. Roofs often take the brunt of storms. Wild winds can cause shingles to lift or be dislodged. Falling trees and flying debris can do much more damage.
